Listening Ministry

This is a one on one, listening ministry. The purpose of this ministry is to provide a listening ear to a hurting individual. This relationship has a beginning and an end. This ministry is totally confidential between the Lay Caring Minister and the individual. Others will be available to provide food, rides & other services.

Friendly Visit

A visit of this type would be like a visit you’d make to your neighbor. Friendly, sharing stories of mutual interest, bringing news about congregational activities.

Telephone Ministry

A telephone call would be for the purpose of caring for an individual by their church family to someone homebound, when a personal visit wouldn’t be convenient or desired.

Eucharistic Ministry

For those unable to attend church for whatever reason, communion can be a real blessing. Examples could be those individuals homebound or hospitalized, It could be combined with a short visit .
